FAQ
Clear answers. No fluff.
Here’s what operators typically ask before adopting Link2Manage.
Is Link2Manage a property management system or an accounting tool?
It’s an operations portal for rentals. It includes practical bookkeeping (income/expenses + reporting), but stays focused on rental workflows: properties, units, leases, tasks, and traceable transactions.
Who is it built for?
Solo landlords, small portfolios, and growing operators who want structure without heavy enterprise software. If you’re tired of spreadsheets + scattered apps, it fits.
Can I track maintenance and tasks per unit?
Yes. Tasks/work orders attach to the correct property and unit, with status workflow, priorities, and due dates — so you can run make‑ready and ongoing maintenance with accountability.
Does it support multiple properties and states?
Yes. The structure is portfolio‑oriented. Solutions and reporting stay clean even as you add properties, units, and regions.
How do exports work for accountants?
The goal is “clean handoff.” Transactions are categorized and tied to the right property/unit so exports are usable without major cleanup. (Exact export formats are finalized during onboarding.)
How do you handle security and backups?
We treat it as an institutional product: controlled access, protected data handling, and regular backups. See the security overview for specifics.
Do you offer a trial?
Yes. Link2Manage offers a 30-day free trial so you can set up properties, test workflows, and evaluate the platform with your own process.
What’s the typical onboarding timeline?
For small portfolios, onboarding can be quick. For larger portfolios, we’ll define structure (properties/units/categories) first so the system stays disciplined long‑term.
